Review existing plans, policies, directives, regulations, legislation, codes of practice and guidance related to spatial planning.

Review as soon as practicable and amend them to ensure they are effective in delivering, rather than hindering, climate adaptation. As new plans, policies etc are developed, use change management and risk management processes, along with the latest knowledge about climate change, to ensure their effectiveness in delivering adaptation.
